May I first say what an honour to judge the Northern Ireland STBC open show. I was chuffed to bits with an entry of 92 considering a green star show in the south and a breed club championship show on the main land. My thanks to the officers and committee for there hospitality, and to the hard working ladies in the kitchen for a wonderful meal. I would also like to T hank the individual members for there donation of specials and to Mr. Harry & Mrs. Margaret Ward for there gift to the BIS winner, last of all I must thank the club for there gift of the Belfast Crystal presented to me. 2./ Robinson: TAMLOUGH LAD Dark/Brindle/White dog - with strong skull, good bite, decent muzzle & jaw, neat ears, keen expression, good straight front on good legs, short backed, well off for rib, rear developing well, moved slightly erratic, needs time to settle, handful for his handler.

1./ Ross: MR FREEZE White - Strong head, correct bite, neat ears, front ok, good brisket, feet ok, a little down in pasterns, well off for rib, middle cast in back, well developed rear, would like to see a little more coverage over the body, moved well.

2./ Raunmiagi: KNOW WHAT Brindle/White - Standard dog with a good head, correct bite, not as deep through the jaw as 1. Ears a little flighty, good front, feet ok, short back, good ribcage, stifles good, the opposite of 1. Carrying a little too much weight.

1./ Ross: TOUCH OF EBONY Brindle/White - Stood alone, older brother to novice dog, strong powerful head, wide skull, heavy ears, good bite, a little fleshy around muzzle, broad front deep brisket, well boned legs, good rib, rear good, moved jaunty, a happy chap.

Graduate Dog

1./ Martin: LOYALSTAFF WALK THE WALK Black/Brindle - Strong powerful animal, good broad skull, good expression, strong muzzle, good under jaw, clean lip, ears good, straight front, good legs and feet, good rib, short back moved well would prefer to see him in harder condition. RESERVE BEST DOG

2./ Best: BELNITE FLASH HARRY Brindle/White - not much between these, preferred front assembly on 1., clean lip, standard dog, good head expression, neat ears, good bite, and short backed, good ribcage, well bent stifles, with a goof coat condition.

Moore & Connery: KENMILLTRI HOPE AND GLORY AT CICELY Brindle - A good blend of Bull & Terrier, a well proportioned head, muscular with well chiseled features, no exaggeration, he has a grand expression, clean foreface, strong muzzle and good under jaw, good stop, correct bite, neat ears, straight front on good legs, a good depth of brisket, enough lift without being over the top, a real good body shape when viewed from above and on profile, a strong muscular neck into good shoulders, a good spring of rib filling into the shoulder, short coupled well tucked up, good rear angualtion, well let down at the hock, plenty of thigh on which lies a good muscle tone, neat tail, short harsh coat in good condition, firm and hard the touch, moved well, this dog has a glint of the devil in his eye and lets other dogs know that. An honest Staffordshire bull terrier, my style of dog. A pleasure to go over him. BEST DOG - BEST IN SHOW
